Soup Calendar: 2/18 only

Potato Leek Soup!  So soothing, creamy and tasty … without any dairy.  We roast potatoes and garlic, combine it with sauteed leeks.  Then we season it with parsley, thyme and marjoram. And finally, give it some texture with a bit of corn.   Calories are estimated at about 180.

 

 

Apple Pilaf Apple Pilaf!   Earthy leeks, nutty pecan, apples, and a rice/barley blend make this sweet pilaf a standout. We’ll keep the serving size to about a cup so that the calories stay below 200.

 


Tzatziki Dip NEW!!  Big and bold step for us to offer a greek yogurt-based dip!  Try it out and let is know.  I promise this will taste fresher than ANY store-bought version.  Cucumber, lemon, dill, mint in a yogurt-based dip!  YUMMY!  We have the carrots to dip with!

Rosemary ChickenProtein Wraps!   This week, try our tasty and healthy Rosemary Chicken Wrap  with home-cooked roasted chicken, rosemary seasonings, local spring greens mix, red onion, parsley, cucumber, couscous, romaine, and lemon-aoili spread, all rolled in a tortilla. About 350 cals/serving and served fresh and tasty!

CAN REQUEST NO TORTILLA (lettuce wrap instead) if ordered by Saturday (saves about 150 calories)!
 Italiano Salad  Italiano Green Salad! This week’s salad includesslivered almonds, marinated artichoke heart, carrots, beans, peppercinni,  parsley, celery, red onion, black olive, and Parmesan cheese, with a home-made Italian dressing.(less than 220 calories/container). Can request NO CHEESE by Saturday!

 

Natural Protein Bars!  Our protein bars are getting rave reviews.  Handy, tasty, healthy, and chemical/preservative-free (so much better than the commercial ones that stay on the grocery shelf for a year!).  Each bar contains 16 grams of protein and only 180 calories.  This is a great snack/breakfast solution for busy day.
