Barley n Greens Soup! This is my favorite soup. I literally lick the bowl with this herby, lemony, textury, nutritious, low-calorie soup. Trust me, you’ll like it! Oh, you want to know what’s in it, rather than just follow my suggestion? Ok, it has spinach, kale, chard, and barley, flavored with green onion, dill, mint, fennel fronds and lemon, in a vegetable broth. We include a Feta cheese topper. Can be customized with NO FETA TOPPER if requested by Saturday. Only 140 calories/serving.
Roasted Beet Salad with Dill! This a lovely side dish that can be served cold or warm. We supply a tart dressing super-flavored with dill and mix it with beautiful deep red beets, sweet onion and a sprinkle of toasted walnuts. Great alone or on a bed of greens. About 130 calories per serving.
Hot n Sour Soup! Asian flavors…a little hot, a little sour. Flavors include: ginger, garlic, mushrooms, bok choy, bamboo shoots, red bell pepper, water chestnuts, and cilantro. This soup is great for calorie-consciousness people at only 90 calories per serving.
Oriental Slaw! It’s raw, with a delicate sesame dressing. Cabbage is mixed with green onion, carrots, bean sprouts, toasted sesame seeds, almonds, bell pepper, jalapeno, and cilantro. A nice low-calorie side or snack at 80 calories per serving.!
Argentina Dip! Simply delicious! Lemon, garlic, cumin, and fiber-filled chickpeas. Includes a bit of chili, thyme, and even cinnamon! Served with a stack of cucumber wedges, it makes for a flavorful and healthy snack filled with nutrients, protein and joy.
PROTEIN WRAPS! This week, try our Chicken w/ Veggies Wrap All the flavor and mindful of the calories, with home-cooked roasted chicken strips, spice-full bean spread w/ Bulgar, grated carrot, roasted pepper, parsley, diced cucumber, red onions, and romaine. All wrapped in crunchy romaine and a flour tortilla. About 320-calories per serving and about 56 grams of chicken. Can request vegetarian and/or lettuce-wrapped, if ordered by Saturday!
Cindy’s Green Salad! Our BIG green salads are fresh, seasonal, and diversified with a variety of veggies, protein, fiber and flavor! This week’s salad includes: toasted slivered almonds, green peas, fresh pomegranate, water chestnuts, cucumber, carrots, and red onion w/ mint on a bed of crispy romaine/iceberg lettuce. Includes our home-made simple vinaigrette dressing. (less than 250 calories/container). You can ADD 64 grams of fresh roasted chicken to your salad for only $1.50! Order by Saturday!
Hand-crafted Power Bars! Handy, tasty, healthy, and chemical/ preservative-free (so much better than the commercial ones that stay on the grocery shelf for a year!). Each bar contains 15 grams of protein and only 180 calories. This is a great snack/breakfast solution for busy day. This week flavors, as available: Cherry Almond or Choco-Peanut.
Energy Brownies n Bars ! Everyone needs a treat now and then! Pecan Blondies or Expresso Brownies. Home-made and best eaten frozen, in my opinion! Just a few bites can satisfy your needs!
