Navy Bean & Ham Soup NEW!! A hearty soup to warm your soul! It has all the yummy ingredients, including carrots, celery, and onion and a bit of smokey flavor from a hint of ham. Slow cooked and tasty! Calories TBD, but assume about 260 per serving.
Italian Collards! Best served warm. It’s hearty, flavorful and oooo so good for you. Collards simmered with onions, tomatoes, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, and more. Contains a bit of bacon fat for that rich taste. VEGAN version available if requested by Saturday. About 130 calories per serving.
Curried Veggie Soup! We use the highest quality curry blend in this vegetable soup, with carrots, black beans, bell pepper, spinach and hints of ginger and peanut. I think it’s my favorite soup. So much fiber, flavor and nutrients! (150 calories/serving).
Herby Parmesan Chickpeas! So much flavor wrapped around a bean, including, lemon, basil, parsley, pepper, garlic and Parmesan cheese. Kinda nutty, tart, and healthy! Beans are dense in calories but filled with good fiber, protein, and nutrition. Don’t be scared at the 250 calories, just savor and realize its a meal!
Traditional Humus w/ Dippers! Home-made and delicious! Lemon, garlic, cumin, and tahini! This traditional hummus is topped with parsley and paprika, the traditional way! Served with a stack of celery, it makes for a flavorful and healthy snack filled with fiber, protein and joy.
PROTEIN WRAPS! This week, try our tasty and healthy Chicken Caesar Wrap. Wraps are handy and very popular for our lunch crew. Try them toasted in the broiler/ toaster oven for 30 secs. This week’s wrap includes: fresh roasted chicken, lemony-couscous, green peas, red onion, tomato, and Parmesan cheese, all rolled in a bed of romaine and flour tortilla. We provide a side of tasty Caesar dipping sauce. About 320-calories per serving and about 56 grams of chicken! Can request no tortilla if received by Saturday!
Italian Green Salad! Our BIG green salads are fresh, seasonal, and diversified with a variety of veggies, protein, fiber and flavor! This week’s salad includes: marinated artichokes, carrots, celery, capers, red onion w/ basil, cucumber, toasted almonds, and kidney beans on a bed of crispy romaine/iceberg lettuce. Includes our home-made Italian dressing. (less than 250 calories/container). You can ADD 64 grams of fresh roasted chicken to your salad for only $1.50! Order by Saturday!
Hand-crafted Power Bars! Handy, tasty, healthy, and chemical/ preservative-free (so much better than the commercial ones that stay on the grocery shelf for a year!). Each bar contains 15 grams of protein and only 180 calories. This is a great snack/breakfast solution for busy day. This week flavors, as available: Pumpkin Spice or Peanut Toffee.
Energy Brownies n Bars ! Everyone needs a treat now and then! Peppermint Brownies or Expresso Brownies. Home-made and best eaten frozen, in my opinion! Just a few bites can satisfy your needs!
