Mediterreanean Chowder Mediterranean Red Chowder!   Give it a try:  It’s so refreshing, exotic, and nutritious!  Flavors include a tomato base with red pepper, eggplant, basil and lots of lemon zest and other Mediterranean flavors.   It is also less than 150 calories/serving.

Quinoa with Nuts and Pomegranate! Perfect blend of taste with super nutrition!  Quinoa is the only plant protein source that contains all essential amino acids!  Perfect for the vegan and their friends!  Quinoa is not a grain; it’s a seed from the chard family.  This side includes fresh scallions, parsley and mint, with almonds and pomegranate and currants, blended in a zesty dressing.  About 180 cals per serving

Sausage Bean Soup Spicy Bean & Chicken Sausage Soup!    Very authentic to New Orleans..  warm flavors of mild chilis, beans, hominy, kale, carrots, celery and the sweetness of more spices!  Yum at 240 calories.!

Marinated CucumbersMarinated Cucumbers! Simple, refreshing, and will last for a long time (but I bet you gobble it up before that). Sliced cucumbers and sweet onions in a home-made sweetened vinegar dressing. They’ll get marinated and a bit pickled and oh so tasty. Excellent for nibbling when the hunger or mood strikes.  And, the the calories are less than 80 cals a serving, so it hardly counts!


Spicy Hummus Spicy Hummus w/ Stix! Home-made and delicious! Three kinds of peppers, lemon, garlic, and cumin, with blended chickpeas! Served with a stack of celery, it makes for a flavorful and healthy snack filled with fiber, protein and joy

Tex-Mex Bowl/Wrap!   It’s a favorite!  Includes:  Fresh couscous with lots of corn, black beans, queso cotija, red onion, roasted red pepper, jalapeno, romaine lettuce, and tex-mex seasonings; all wrapped up in a tortilla.   Less than 350 cals/serving and served fresh and tasty!

Caprese Caprese Green Salad! Making a special offering this week , including slices of soft mozzarella cheese, ripe tomato, cucumber, red onion, with fresh basil, and olives atop a bed of romaine.  Includes a simple balsamic vinegar/olive oil dressing.  (less than 280 calories/container). You can ADD 64 g of chicken to your salad for only $1.50 (please order by Saturday).

Hand-crafted Power Bars!  Handy, tasty, healthy, and chemical/ preservative-free (so much better than the commercial ones that stay on the grocery shelf for a year!).  Each bar contains 15 grams of protein and only 180 calories.  This is a great snack/breakfast solution for busy day. This week flavors, as available Pumpkin-Spice and Apricot-Pecan.

Brownies Energy Brownies!  Everyone needs a treat now and then!     Home-made and best eaten frozen, in my opinion!  Just a few bites can satisfy your needs!
