Black Bean Soup Aztec Black Bean Soup!  Something filling and flavorful!  Slightly spicy with green chilis and jalapenos and a blend of spices.  We keep it vegetarian and low-cal, so add you own dollop of sour cream if you want to make it super yummy!  Approx.  240 calories.

Mediterranean Chowder Mediterranean Red Chowder!   Give it a try:  It’s so refreshing, exotic, and nutritious!  Flavors include a tomato base with red pepper, eggplant, basil and lots of lemon zest and other Mediterranean flavors.   It is also less than 150 calories/serving.

Curried Chickpeas Curried Chickpea Side! Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) have so many nutrients, and aid in lowering cholesterol, weight loss and impacts of diabetes, It’s a dense source of protein and fiber. This recipe will be tasty with the addition of onions, tomatoes, zucchini, and spices.  About 180 calories per serving. Can be served hot or cold.

Our BIG green salads are fresh, seasonal, and diversified with a variety of veggies, protein, fiber and flavor!  This week’s salad includes: blueberry, cucumber, tomato, black beans, celery, and  radish with our sesame vinaigrette ! (less than 250 calories/container).  You can ADD 64 grams of fresh roasted chicken to your salad for only $1.50!  (Pictured salad may not reflect the featured ingredients for this week)
6-pack of powerbars Natural Power Bars!  Handy, tasty, healthy, and chemical/ preservative-free (so much better than the commercial ones that stay on the grocery shelf for a year!).  Each bar contains 15 grams of protein and only 180 calories.  This is a great snack/breakfast solution for busy day. This week flavors, as available:   Raisin-Walnut.

Energy Brownies!   Everyone needs a treat now and then!   Home-made and best eaten frozen, in my opinion!  Just a few bites can satisfy your needs!  A bit of cinnamon, walnuts n espresso make these treats special!
