Southwest Soup Southwest Soup!  A vegetarian southwest soup with surprising flavors:    jalapeno, , bell pepper, corn, black beans, and onion, with a pumpkin soup base.  Many say its super! (about 200 cals/serving, but provides tons of fiber and plant protein).
 
 
Marinated Cucumbers!  Simple, refreshing, and will last for a long time (but I bet you gobble it up before that). This is something my Grandma served up during most Sunday suppers. Sliced cucumbers and sweet onions in a home-made sweetened vinegar dressing. They’ll get marinated and a bit pickled and oh so tasty.  And, the the calories are less than 80 cals a serving, so it hardly counts!

Home-made Hummus Traditional Hummus w/ Stix!  Home-made and delicious! Lemon, garlic, cumin, and tahini!  This traditional hummus is topped with parsley and paprika, the traditional way!  Served with a stack of celery, it makes for a flavorful and healthy snack filled with fiber, protein and joy.

Mediterranean Wrap Yummy Bowls/Wraps!  This week, try our tasty and healthy  Mediterranean Bowl/Wrap! with fine lemony-mint couscous, red onion, olive, sun dried tomato, and crunchy romaine. Less than 320 cals/serving and served fresh and tasty!

  • LO-CARB Option!!  Substitute a bowl instead of tortilla if ordered by Friday for next week!   AND/OR,

big fresh green salads   Festive Green Salad!  Our BIG green salads are fresh, seasonal, and diversified with a variety of veggies, protein, fiber and flavor!  This week’s salad includes:  carrots, blueberries, apples, sunflower seeds, zucchini/cucumber, and red onion, with spring greens and a flavorful Raspberry dressing.    (photo does not represent current menu).

You can ADD 64 g of fresh roasted chicken to your salad for only $1.50.

Hand-crafted Power Bars!Handy, tasty, healthy, and chemical/ preservative-free (so much better than the commercial ones that stay on the grocery shelf for a year!).  Each bar contains 15 grams of protein and only 180 calories.  This is a great snack/breakfast solution for busy day. This week  we offer:  blueberry-nut!

Energy Brownies!   Everyone needs a treat now and then!   Home-made and best eaten frozen, in my opinion!  Just a few bites can satisfy your needs!  A bit of cinnamon n espresso and walnuts make these treats special!
