Brazilian Black Bean Soup Brazil : warm but mild with a bit of exotic latin flavor in a hearty, healthy soup.  I’m told it freezes well. This is a semi-pureed soup with a bit of garlic, cumin, carrots, coriander and laced with sherry and orange juice, and a bit of bacon crumbles (can request vegan)! Calories are 200 per serving.

Best-Ever Coleslaw!  This the tart-sweet slaw you find at the best BBQ joints in the south.  There is no mayo in this dish, so it can last (and improve) for over a week!  Includes onion, a bit of carrot and bell pepper, with an outstanding marinade!  (less than 90 calories per serving)

Breadless Bruschetta! This doesn’t come around too often, so seize the moment. Our fresh bruschetta is made with diced tomatoes in garlic, olive oil, basil, suns-dried tomatoes and capers! Of course, we won’t tell if you spread it on a baguette with mozzarella cheese. Also, excellent with pasta, or a topping for your favorite fish or chicken! No dippers (as shown in photo)… it needs nothing to devour! Only about 80

Tawdry Tortellini Soup! It’s so good, it’s sinful (yet far healthier than a restaurant version). Of course it’s filled with love, but I’ll keep us in calorie-control with cheese-filled tortellini, kielbasa, peas, tomatoes, fennel, and kale. Treat yourself, it’s still less than 250 cals per serving

Sweet-and-Sour Sauerkraut!  You say you don’t LOVE sauerkraut?  Did you know how beneficial fermented foods are?  No?  Then, go Google it and decide for yourself.  Instead of Kim-chi, we make this turbo-charged side dish with sauerkraut, tomatoes, allspice, cumin, onion and garlic which makes it unique and yummy. Best served warm, but anyway is terrific!  Less than 100 cals/serving.

Herby White Bean w/ Sun-dried Tomato Dip! Delicious white beans with lemon, rosemary, sage and sun-dried tomatoes. Served with a stack of celery, it makes for a flavorful and healthy snack filled with fiber, protein and joy (about 250 calories/container).

Broccoli Floret Soup!  Did you know that broccoli is a great source of calcium and protein?    This soup is creamy without any dairy.  The surprise is the broccoli remains in florets instead of being pureed.  It has greens, celery, garlic, and herb tastes with broccoli florets.  A serving is about 150 calories with 8 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber.

Three Bean Plus Side!  Our bean salad includes green beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, white and green onion, and bell pepper, in a sweetened vinegar dressing. Would be an excellent stand-alone side or a great topper for your green salad! About 150 calories per serving.
